1. What types of courses do you offer?
We offer a range of Slovak language classes—including online and in-person options in London and Cambridge—for both children and adults. Formats include semi-private, group, and private lessons, all tailored to different age groups and proficiency levels.
2. Can I try a lesson before enrolling?
Absolutely! We provide a free trial lesson (including an initial consultation). After registering, we’ll contact you to find the best fit in terms of timing, format, and level.
3. Where are your classes held?
London: Fitzrovia Community Centre, 2 Foley Street, W1W 6DL
Cambridge: Arbury Community Centre, Campkin Road, CB4 2LD
Online: From anywhere in the world via ZOOM.
4. What’s included in each term of your courses?
Each term includes (unless stated otherwise in course descriptions):
10 live sessions in small groups
12 weekly group conversation sessions for fluency and confidence
All required learning materials/textbooks—no extra purchases
Access to bonus online workshops and activities
Lessons led by qualified Slovak tutors
Transparent pricing with no hidden fees
5. How do I register or book a free trial?
Simply click on the “Register for a FREE Trial” button on the website (options for children/adults and online/in-person). After registration, we’ll reach out to schedule your trial and align it with your preferences.
6. When do the terms run?
We run multiple terms each year, with start dates in September, January, and April. Each term lasts 12 weeks, with short breaks during major holidays.

7. What are the prices for your courses?
Our course fees vary depending on the format, group size, and duration. Prices generally range from £50 GBP / €58 EUR / $67 USD for short group courses to £220 GBP / €249 EUR / $289 USD for full-term semi-private programmes.

8. Are there discounts or scholarships available?
Yes—we are committed to accessible learning:
Full-year discount: 10% off when registering for three consecutive terms
Sibling discounts: 20% off for the first sibling, 40% off for each additional
Scholarships: Available for low-income families, refugees, and disadvantaged students
All can be requested during trial registration.
9. Can I choose a class time that fits my schedule?
Yes. Our classes run on different days and times during the week, and we will do our best to match your availability and level.
10. What makes SlovHack different from other language schools?

11. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept bank transfers into our:

You can also pay easily via the Wise platform, or by credit/debit card using a secure payment link we send on request.
Please note: card payments incur a 5% international processing fee.
12. Can I join you from anywhere in the world? Even outside Europe?
Yes! We run courses at times suitable for different time zones, so students can join us from anywhere in the world. We also accept payments in multiple currencies (GBP, EUR, USD) and by card, making it easy to participate no matter where you live.
