1. Fees

💳 Payment

• Full course fees must be paid by the first day of your course via bank transfer.

• Group language courses are paid per term or per school year only (not per individual class).

• If you join a course later in the term, the fee will be calculated pro-rata for the remaining weeks.

2. Courses & Classes

📘 Organisation

• We may occasionally need to cancel or adjust a course in exceptional circumstances. In such cases, we will offer either a refund or an alternative course.

• Teachers may change during the course (for example due to illness or holidays). We keep changes to a minimum.

• On rare occasions, class sizes may temporarily exceed the stated maximum.

👩‍🏫 Placement & Minimum Numbers

• If too few students enrol in a group course, we may offer:

  • an alternative group course, or

  • the equivalent value in one-to-one lessons.

• If a student’s level is not suitable for the course booked, we may:

  • transfer them to a more appropriate class, or

  • cancel and refund all fees if preferred.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

❌ Missed Lessons

• To cancel a one-to-one lesson, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made later may not be refunded.

• We cannot give refunds for:

  • late arrivals,

  • early departures,

  • absences during a course, or

  • if a student changes their mind.

💡 Exceptions

• In exceptional circumstances (e.g. illness or illness within the family), a refund may be possible.

4. Behaviour & Conduct

All students are expected to follow our school rules and behave respectfully.
We reserve the right to ask a student to leave the school immediately in cases of:

• disruptive behaviour,

• repeated absence, or

• illegal activity.

5. Force Majeure

Slovak Learning CIC is not responsible for loss of tuition or services caused by events beyond our control (e.g. natural disasters, strikes, or government restrictions).
👉 In such cases, refunds will not be made.

6. Data Protection

Your information is stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act.

• Data may be shared with the British Home Office for visa purposes or with accreditation bodies when required.

7. Photos & Promotional Materials

We sometimes take photos or videos for promotional use.

• These will only be used in line with the Parental Consent Form you completed at enrolment.

We aim to resolve all complaints quickly and fairly.

9. Covid-19 Policy

If face-to-face classes cannot take place due to the Covid-19 pandemic:

• We may provide online classes (group or private) instead of refunds, if:

  • the same quality can be offered, and

  • the student’s age allows for online learning.

• Exceptions may be made at the discretion of management.
