Looking for a gentle, supportive, and well-structured introduction to Slovak? Our Beginners’ Slovak course for children aged 6–14 is designed for complete beginners with no prior knowledge of the language. The course provides a calm, encouraging start that helps children build strong foundations, confidence, and a positive relationship with Slovak.

How the Beginners’ Course Works

👫 Semi-private groups
Small groups of around 6 children allow for individual attention, active participation, and steady progress.

🗣️ Communicative approach (pre-A1 to A1 CEFR)
Lessons focus on listening and basic speaking skills, aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (pre-A1 – A1) and adapted to children’s age and needs.

📚 High-quality, trusted materials
We use our own teaching resources alongside accredited Slovak language course books, especially Aha, slovenčina, suitable for children and non-native speakers.

🎯 A gentle and supportive start
Children are not tested formally. Progress is observed naturally, with emphasis on understanding, enjoyment, and confidence.
