Our Slovak Nursery “Lienky” is designed for children aged 3 to 6, offering a joyful introduction to Slovak through play, music, stories, movement, and creative activities. Sessions take place every Saturday in a safe, nurturing, and encouraging setting that respects early childhood development and supports children’s natural curiosity and love of learning.

How Our Slovak Nursery Works

👧🏻 One stable group of children
The group is limited to a maximum of 25 children, allowing us to build a close-knit community, a sense of security, and plenty of individual attention.

🗣️ Communicative and play-based approach (pre-A1 to A1 CEFR)
The programme focuses primarily on listening and speaking skills, fully adapted to young learners. It is aligned with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) at pre-A1 to A1 levels.

📚 Thoughtfully designed and trusted materials
We use our own age-appropriate teaching materials, visuals, songs, and movement-based activities, complemented by methodologies and inspiration from accredited Slovak language course books, especially Aha, slovenčina, widely recognised in Slovak language education for children and non-native speakers.

🎯 Individual engagement for every child
Children are not tested or assessed formally. Teachers observe progress sensitively and involve each child according to their individual pace, confidence, and needs.
