Classes are carefully tailored to your child’s age, level, and learning style, and always begin with a free one-to-one assessment, so we can recommend the most suitable group.

How our children’s courses work

• 👧🏻 Small semi-private groups
  Maximum 6 children per group, ensuring individual attention, active participation, and faster progress.

• 🗣️ Communication-first approach (A1–C2 CEFR)
  The courses focus primarily on speaking and understanding Slovak, following the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (A1–C2), adapted specifically for children.

• 📚 Quality learning materials
  We work with our own carefully designed materials as well as accredited Slovak course books, in particular Aha, slovenčina, which is widely recognised for teaching Slovak to children and non-native speakers.

• 🎯 Personalised placement
  Based on the initial assessment, we place your child into a group that best matches their language level, age, and availability.

What children learn with us

Lessons are built around practical, age-appropriate themes, introduced through games, stories, songs, movement, and creative tasks. For instance, the key topics for A1-A2 CEFR level courses include:

Certificates of completion

At the end of the school year, children receive a certificate of completion confirming their participation and language progress.
Please note that these certificates are not the same as official Slovak school certificates (“vysvedčenia”), which can legally be issued only by schools in Slovakia.
